Opportunity or Doom? Are you numb or awake? Is it business as usual or are you exploring the unknown?
Wherever you are- whatever your state of mind- one thing is clear to me. Opportunity is everywhere.
It’s hard to choose to see it sometimes when the old tapes start on autoplay. I get it and yet the most fun you will ever have is venturing into a new place with all the wisdom and curiosity you have.
I have been so incredibly productive during this time period, despite being so over never leaving the house, that I can hardly believe on both fronts we Illinoisans have until May 31st to shelter-in-place.
On one hand I can hardly wait for how much more I will have learned and accomplished and on the other I have not exercised in 5 weeks and by then it will be almost 10. (I think I need to address that.)
All the same, this experience has been about extremes and learning how to live with them and live through them.
Curate your thoughts carefully. You have the opportunity to accomplish whatever it is you need to. People are more open, more friendly and more interested in getting to know you. If nothing but that has come from this, it would have been worth it to me.
